Abstract:
Our recent experience on remote learning during school closure highlights the importance of teacher and school capacities of integrating technology in K-12 classrooms. Teachers’ classroom technology integration is influenced by different context factors such as school, principal and peer support, and teacher belief and competencies. The more technology integration it is, the more disruptive it is to the teachers and schools. In this presentation, the speaker will share his studies on factors affecting teacher integration in classrooms. The factors include individual, organizational, and social; therefore, will discuss the major catalyst and barrier. The findings contribute to how school leaders plan their e-learning policy and how we design teacher professional training programs for more technology integration.
